WOW!! One week at training camp has already gone by! I have 38 amazing people on my squad along with our team and squad leaders. Throughout this past week, I’ve been challenged, strengthened, and have just felt super blessed by the Lord!

Hammocking the World Race way…from top to bottom: Kayley, Arwyn, Sam, Doug, Clayton

Even though it’s the end of week one, everyone on my squad is already getting so excited to get on the field and into the community to share the Gospel. We’re just on overflow of the Lord’s love right now. Jesus is alive and the Holy Spirit is so evident and active in all of us! This is a community of love, patience, excitement, and forgiveness. There have been a lot of hard teachings and things that we all have different views on, but God has allowed there to be unity! He’s just so good. I’m excited about our team leaders (the name of my team leader is Ally) and squad leaders as well- Bill and Katie. All of the leaders are just so filled and led by the Holy Spirit, filled with wisdom, and it is evident that their eyes are just SO on Jesus. Bill and Katie are people that I am really excited for. The Lord is and will be using them to lead the squad on a path of righteousness and one that is fully seeking to glorify God in every way. God’s really got something special for this squad!!

Here’s my team! Far left is our team leader Ally! Top three are Hannah, Alexina, and Claire. Bottom two on my right are Emma and Katie.
Post-session couch pile!!

Sleeping in a hammock, taking cold bucket showers, worshipping together, exploring, crying, laughing really hard, staying up late talking about Jesus, reading my Bible, just everything has been amazing. I love all these people so much. My squad, all our leaders, just everything. We’re all learning so much about what a healthy community looks like and are looking forward to taking our excitement out and into the world!

Please be praying for protection over the minds of all the racers here at camp as the enemy tries to confuse people through lies. Pray that God’s truth will win everyday all day! You can be praying for me that I’d have strength and energy. There is a lot to take in everyday. We’ve been going through a lot of heavy teachings and it’s good! But my mind needs prayer for processing.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support! I love all of you guys so much and it’s so nice to be able to share this journey with you. I look forward to things the Lord will do and reveal and being able to share that excitement with you!!

Love,

Kayley
